ABOUT BET AVIV
Bet Aviv is a Reform Jewish congregation of adult members 55 years and older. We are an inclusive and caring community that strives to meet the spiritual, religious, educational, and social needs of our members through worship, study, service to our community and social and celebratory activities. A warm, friendly, and committed community, we offer a wide variety of activities including Sunday adult education classes, weekly Lunch and Learn sessions, Scholar-in-Residence programs, an active Sisterhood, book discussion club, and additional opportunities that encourage congregants to stay connected and involved. Based on the needs of our members, our services and learning programs are available both in-person as well as online and are led by Rabbi Linda Joseph. Shabbat Services with Rabbi Joseph and Cantorial Soloist Beth Rubens are held every other Friday night at 7:30 PM at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center and live-streamed for those not able to attend in-person.
